The opening & closing of the popular hospital request programme "Hospitaaltyd", hosted by Dulcie van den Bergh, b/c 1979. The
series started on Springbok Radio in March 1959 & was produced by the CRC Studios in Johannesburg. The popular jingle was
written by Bob Courtney & sung by Jimmy Rayson in 1959. The programme ended in 1979 when it was incorporated with "Hospital
Time" to form one hospital request programme, broadcast from Monday to Friday. The new "Hospital Time / Hospitaaltyd" was
presented by Evelyn Martin & the final episode was broadcast on 31 December 1985.
