The opening & closing of an episode entitled "The Brink of Eternity" b/c 9 March 1985. The series started on Springbok Radio in August
1972, replacing the series "Next Stop Makouvlei". It contnued until June1985. The series featured a weekly boys own adventure story of
war, hijackings, suspense & disasters. The main writers were Ron Evans, Norman Partington, Dorothy Bennett, Denver Morgan & Roger
Service. "High Adventure" was seen by many as the Springbok Radio series that had the best sound effects of any other Springbok
Radio series at the time. This was due to the excellent production values of it's producer Henry Diffenthal. All of the episodes were
recorded at the Olympia Recording Studios in Durban.
